Visit the Colosseum on this express private tour. Explore the history and the secrets of the most famous landmark of Ancient Rome, led by one of our expert guides. The tour lasts 1.5 hours, and at the end of it you’ll be handed over the tickets to visit the other sites of the archeological park: the Roman Forum and the Palatine Hill.

However, if you’d rather visit those places with our guide, let us know beforehand so we can arrange a longer tour.

This private tour starts in front of the Colosseum, where you will be met by your guide walked to the entrance way. Once you get in, you will start to time travel 2000 years into the past, learning the history of the Colosseum, how it was built (and how fast they were!) and what kind of shows ran there.

Discover how the gladiators fought on the arena, and how the Romans reenacted epic battles of their past for the fun of the audience. Marvel at the massive remains of the largest amphitheatre of the ancient times, which could seat some 70,000 people. After finishing the visit of the Colosseum, you will exit the monument and handed the tickets, for you ti stay on in the area and visit the Roman Forum and the Palatine Hill at your convenience.
