This half-day tour of Rome by Golf Cart lets you see all of Rome’s attractions, with your lunch already sorted out and paid for.
This private half-day Golf Cart tour of Rome starts at your hotel – as long as it is located in the city centre. After you’ve met your tour guide, we start zipping through Ancient Rome’s highlights, with the most known sites of the Eternal City: we reach the Colosseum, then proceed further to the massive remains of the Baths of Caracalla, and eventually stop at Circus Maximus for an astonishing view of the imperial palaces on the Palatine Hill.
From a great view to another, we get to the Aventine Hill, one of the legendary Seven Hills of Rome, to walk into the Orange Garden, which offers the perfect lookout to enjoy the city from above.
From there, we whiz to Piazza Venezia, featuring the impressive Vittoriano, toss a coin into the water and the famous Trevi Fountain, and hit the jewel of baroque: Piazza Navona, with the stunning Fountain of the four Rivers realised by Bernini.
At about 12.30pm your tour guide will take you to the restaurant you’ve chosen for lunch: a typical Italian restaurant, for a traditional style lunch, or a Michelin starred restaurant, for an incredible food experience, consisting of a set menu of 3 courses created by the chef, using fresh produce from the market. Please note that the Michelin starred restaurant is available only from Monday to Friday.
This half-a-day private Golf Cart tour of Rome then resumes around 1.30pm, to cover the other attractions you will have missed so far: the Vatican City, to admire the Saint Peter’s Basilica and the square it stands on, and the Castle of Saint Angelo, a majestic building with over 19 hundred years of history, towering right next to the river.
Pick-up and drop-off service available only in the city centre.
Reduced price for groups of three participants or more. With 4 to 6 people, the tour runs on two Golf Carts. With 7 to 9 people, the tour runs on three Golf Carts.
