From a great fountain to another, we hit the jewel of baroque: Piazza Navona, with its peculiar mix of classy buildings and a buzzing atmosphere, featuring the stunning Fountain of the four Rivers made by Bernini in the 17th Century.

After finishing the visit of the Colosseum, you will head to the Roman Forum and the Palatine Hill, together with your private guide. The Roman Forum was the beating heart of politics in Ancient Rome, housing the main temples, the Senate and the court houses, wheres the Palatine Hill was the legendary place of foundation of the city itself. Moreover, starting Augustus, the Palatine was chosen as residence for the emperors and their families, so now you can visit the and the astonishing ruins of the imperial palaces.

Resuming the tour and drop off

This golf cart of Rome with access to the Colosseum isn’t finished yet, as we will drive by the Circus Maximus, the Mouth of Truth and stop at the Forum Boarium. It was the cattle market in Ancient Rome, and features two exceptionally preserved temples: Hercules’ and Portunus’, besides a marble arch that was the entry gate to the market. From there, we will whiz to Piazza Venezia, with the impressive Vittoriano, also serving as Altar of the Fatherland, and drop you off at your accommodation, or wherever you’d like in the historical centre.
