If you go for the former option, then you will see the Colosseum, briefly learning the history of the monument, the Circus Maximus – the gigantic stadium for the chariot races – and the Palatine Hill, featuring the astonishing remains of the imperial palaces. The next stops are at the Mouth of Truth and then the Forum Boarium, to see the oldest standing building of the Eternal City. After that, this short tour of Rome in Golf cart goes past the Marcellus Theatre and finishes up at the Pantheon.

However, if you’d rather see the attractions of baroque and renaissance Rome, then this short tour in Golf Cart will take you to the Spanish Steps, the amazing square heart of the shopping district, to Piazza Navona, with Bernini’s masterpiece, the Fountain of the Four Rivers, and to the Trevi Fountain, one of the most known sites in the world. From there, we get to Piazza Venezia, where you’ll marvel at the Vittoriano, the national monument of Italy.

Visit Colosseum and Roman Forum on this exclusive private tour. Discover the history and the secrets of the most famous landmarks of Ancient Rome, led by one of our expert guides. The tour lasts three hours, but you can choose how you want to spend your time: whether focusing on the Colosseum – with the opportunity of touring the arena, with a little surcharge and subject to availability – or squeezing in a visit to the Palatine Hill.

This private tour starts at the Colosseum, where you will be met by your guide and handed the tickets, for you to skip the long queues to buy them. Once you get in, you will start to time travel 2000 years into the past, learning the history of the Colosseum, how it was built and what kind of show ran there.

After finishing the visit of the Colosseum, you will exit the monument and head for the Roman Forum, the beating heart of the ancient city. Here, you will see all the three triumphal arches still standing: the Arch if Titus, the Arch of Septimius Severus and the Arch of Constantine. See the old Roman Senate, the remaining of impressive temples dating back thousand of years.

After that, you’ll move to the Palatine Hill, the legendary place where Rome was founded by Romulus in 753 BC, and where later several emperors decided to live, building magnificent houses. The remains of the imperial palaces, erected by Augustus and Trajan among others, represent one of the highlights fo this private tour of Colosseum and Roman Forum.
